Frequently Asked Questions
Will Cable Mag™ stick to standard Australian gutters?
Yes. If your gutters or roof profiles are constructed from steel (including standard steel roofing like Colorbond®), Cable Mag™ anchors straight to them. Simply twist it onto your string line and snap it to the gutter rim or fascia. It locks firmly into position and lifts away cleanly with zero scratching, warping, or marking.
What surfaces are compatible?
Cable Mag™ securely attaches to any ferrous (iron-containing) metal surface. This includes steel roofing, metal pergola beams, warehouse shelving, tool chests, heavy machinery, and even embedded drywall screw heads. Note: It will not grip non-magnetic metals like aluminium or high-grade stainless steel.
Can it handle permanent outdoor exposure?
Absolutely. Cable Mag™ is formulated using advanced, highly cross-linked UV-stabilised polyurethane. It is purpose-built to survive intense thermal cycles, freezing winter rain, and scorching UV radiation without embrittlement or degradation.
