Sold in pairs. Each pair mounts one end of the 2020 V-slot rail to your aquarium glass. See our Ai Blade mount bracket 2020 V Slot for the angle-adjustable light brackets that complete the system.

Note: The 2020 V-slot rail is not included and must be sourced separately. To determine the rail length you need, measure the outside dimensions of your tank — that measurement is your required rail length.

Choosing the right height

Available in 100mm, 120mm, 140mm, 160mm, 180mm, and 200mm. The height determines how far the rail sits above your aquarium glass rim, which affects the light position and angle.

Important: 100mm end mounts position the light at or slightly below the top of the glass depending on the angle set. For tanks with a high water level, we recommend 120mm or higher to avoid splashing.

Choosing the right glass thickness

Select the variant that matches your aquarium glass thickness. The mount is sized to grip the glass securely without tools or adhesive.

Installation

The mounts are designed to support the rail from both ends only. The fit of the rail is firm — push one end mount onto the rail and gently tap it on until it stops moving, then repeat on the opposite end. An optional screw hole is provided if you would like to permanently secure the mount to the rail.

Is the 2020 V-slot rail included?

No — the rail is not included and must be sourced separately. The rail length you need is equal to the outside dimensions of your tank.

How do I choose the right height?

Heights range from 100mm to 200mm. The 100mm model positions the light at or slightly below the top of the glass, so we recommend 120mm or higher if your water level is high to avoid splashing. Select the height that positions your light where you need it.

What material is it made from?

Black versions are printed in PETG-CF (carbon-fibre reinforced PETG), while white versions are printed in PETG-GF (glass-fibre reinforced PETG). Both PETG-CF and PETG-GF provide good UV resistance and durability for aquarium environments.
