Application

Purpose-built mounting bracket for securing an AquaIllumination Ai Blade light to a compatible 2020 V-Slot aluminium rail used with the MnN Proto-Lab aquarium tank-mount system.

Compatibility

• AquaIllumination Ai Blade aquarium lights.
• Standard 2020 V-Slot aluminium extrusion with an open rail end during assembly.
• MnN Proto-Lab 2020 V-Slot Aquarium Tank Mount.

The bracket must slide onto the open rail before the second tank end mount is installed. It cannot be added after both end mounts are fitted.

Construction and adjustment

• Integrated geared adjustment allows controlled positioning of the light.
• A retaining screw secures the selected position after adjustment.
• Use enough brackets to support the installed Ai Blade securely and evenly. Do not operate the light with loose, damaged or incompletely engaged brackets.

Materials and variants

• Black, SKU AIBLD-BLK: PETG-CF carbon-fibre reinforced PETG.
• White, SKU AIBLD-WHT: PETG-GF glass-fibre reinforced PETG.

Both PETG-CF and PETG-GF provide good UV resistance and durability for aquarium environments.

Installation requirements

• Install the brackets on the open 2020 V-Slot rail before fitting the second end mount.
• Seat the Ai Blade correctly in each bracket and confirm the retaining screw is secure.
• Support the light during adjustment and distribute brackets evenly.
• Before use, confirm the rail, end mounts, brackets and light are stable.

Care

Remove salt spray and residue with a wet or damp soft cloth, then dry the bracket before refitting. Do not use harsh solvents, abrasive cleaners or sharp tools.

Important limitations

No maximum rail span or load rating is specified. Final installation suitability depends on the complete rail arrangement, tank geometry, bracket quantity, light configuration and installation quality.
