Terminal Protection & High-Current Power Integration Kit
Manufacturer: MnN Proto-Lab
Document reference: TDS-LRS600-002-REV2
Date: September 2026
1. Product Description
The Meanwell LRS-600 PSU Enclosure Mount is a model-specific terminal safety cover designed exclusively for the Meanwell LRS-600 power supply series. Its dual-chamber layout physically separates mains AC input wiring from low-voltage DC output connections, while the complete terminal shroud encloses exposed connections and provides clean cable exit paths for CNC, 3D-printing, LED, workshop, and control-panel installations.
2. Key Features & Included Components
- Dual-Chamber Isolation: An internal dividing barrier separates mains AC wiring from low-voltage DC output connections.
- Complete Terminal Shroud: Encloses the open terminal area to reduce accidental contact and provide a clean finished installation.
- Reinforced Construction: Printed in rigid PETG-CF for dimensional stability, durability, and heat resistance beside an operating power supply.
- Included Components: 1 × PETG-CF enclosure mount, 1 × MnN Proto-Lab press-fit IEC C14 socket, voltage-appropriate output hardware, and mounting screws.
- Power Supply Not Included: The Meanwell LRS-600 power supply is purchased separately.
3. Material & Component Specifications
Enclosure Body
- Material: PETG-CF, carbon-fibre reinforced PETG.
- Finish: Satin black.
- Characteristics: High rigidity, dimensional stability, impact resistance, chemical resistance, and suitable thermal performance for the intended enclosure application.
Electrical Connection Components
- AC Input: MnN Proto-Lab press-fit IEC C14 panel-mount socket.
- IEC Conductors: Solid copper with tin plating.
- 5 V, 12 V & 15 V Output: M8 high-current 100 A binding posts.

6. Performance & Environmental Considerations
- Thermal Performance: PETG-CF provides suitable heat resistance for the intended location beside an operating LRS-600 power supply.
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to common workshop oils and mild cleaning agents. Confirm compatibility before exposure to aggressive chemicals.
- Physical Protection: The enclosure helps reduce accidental finger or tool contact with the terminal area when correctly assembled.
7. Installation Responsibility & Safety
- Mains Wiring: Installation involves terminating mains-voltage wiring between the included IEC socket and the power supply terminals.
- Installer Responsibility: The installer is responsible for using appropriate wire ratings, insulation, protective earthing, strain relief, termination methods, and applicable electrical protection.
- Compliance: All assembly and use must comply with the electrical safety requirements and regulations applicable to the installation location.
- Pre-Use Inspection: Check polarity, earth continuity, insulation, terminal tightness, cable security, and enclosure fit before applying power.
- Damage: Do not energise the assembly if any enclosure part, conductor, terminal, insulation, or connection is damaged or insecure.
8. Revision Summary
REV2: Added the complete seven-variant SKU and output-hardware matrix, clarified included components, and updated installation responsibility and safety wording.
